Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore!

Piglet said "The things that make me different are the things that make me ME!" "We will be friends forever! Just you wait and see!" said Tigger. "I might have known,” said Eeyore. “After all, one can’t complain. I have my friends. Somebody spoke to me only yesterday. "

Great friends and supporters of each other. They are always there in good times and in bad times. They are quick to pick each other up and ensure that their friends are happy, healthy and in good health.

Today at the school I trained in these three little guys really did bring out the best in the students. They thought about how difficult things can be if you don't have someone to share your problems with. They contemplated how they could devise a program that would support anyone feeling vulnerable. And they delivered their speeches as stories for the last hour of the day which meant we learned a great deal about everyone in the room.

Stories help us understand a point that much more. Stories are easy to remember which means we are more likely to retell the story. Stories are entertaining as well as educating. I believe that if you want to be remembered by your audience you need to open up your heart and let them understand where you are coming from.

I grew up reading Winnie the Pooh and all his friends. Chasing the pooh stick under the bridge. Fighting imaginary enemies with my sword. Making friends with anyone I could. Tigger has to be my favourite character because of all his interesting explorations. Jumping, bouncing, pouncing and more! Laughing with everyone he sees and quick to protect his friends.

Who's your favourite character? Think about how they have influenced your life and how you are secretly embracing them within your own personality!

"The wonderful thing about Tiggers is I'm the only one!" Well, maybe not! But we can always dream! I'm definitley the only Teresa!
